Information we collect
Many of the services on our site are offered without our collecting any personally identifiable information from you. You can surf PCOR.com and view some of our content anonymously.
The information we gather on our site falls into two categories: (1) personal information you supply when you subscribe, order, complete a survey, register for an online discussion, or provide your e-mail address, and (2) tracking information collected as you navigate through our site.
Personal information
To use certain features on our site, we ask you to subscribe or register. Our e-mail policies
Account and services related e-mail: We will send you e-mails relating to your account. If you have registered for online discussions you may receive e-mails specific to your participation online.
e-mail newsletters: We offer several e-mail newsletters. If you no longer wish to receive a specific newsletter, you can follow the 'unsubscribe' instructions located near the bottom of each newsletter
HTML verification: When receiving an e-mail from us, we may place a one-pixel gif in that e-mail to understand whether or not you can accept HTML images and, if you can accept HTML, whether or not you viewed the e-mail. This process does not leave any information on your computer, nor does it collect information from your computer. PCOR.com does not share or sell this information with others, and we only use it to improve our e-mail communications with you.
Security and passwords
We maintain a secure process to collect, transmit and store your personally identifiable information. When you provide credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect it.
We urge you to keep your password in a safe place and not to divulge it to anyone. We will never ask you to send us your password by email.
